After a lifetime of searching for a meaningful spiritual path, I attended my first Native American ceremony over 20 years ago and "came home."
For the past two decades my life has centered on creating a connection to the energy and spirits of the earth and I have studied extensively with Native American elders, including Sun Bear, Wallace Black Elk and Marcellus "Bear Heart" Williams. Through them I have been trained and authorized to run many Native American ceremonies, including the Sacred Stone People's Lodge, fire ceremonies, Sacred Pipe ceremonies and vision quests. I Sun Danced with my adopted father, Wallace Black Elk at the Pilot Rock Sun Dance in Oregon and, when he stopped running that dance, finished my four-year Sun Dance commitment at a Sun Dance in New Mexico. I am also a pipe carrier, ceremonial singer, vision faster and a 15-year apprentice to, and adopted daughter of, Bear Heart.

An Irish citizen, I weave my beloved Celtic spiritual heritage into my teachings, including the Celtic sweat house ceremony, called Tigh ‘n aluis [Tee-nolliss],
as well as lessons learned in my time spent with aboriginals of Australia, Maoris of New Zealand, the Sami of Norway and the Fulnio Indians of Brazil.
In addition to teaching, I have a private healing practice, having been trained in indigenous healing, Reiki and Spiritual Healing. I am a Healer Member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers of the U.K. and U.S. and a Level III Reiki Master/Teacher. My professional memberships include the National Federation of Spiritual Healers, the International Association of Reiki Professionals and the National Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals. I also
studied with renowned animal Reiki practitioner Kathleen Prasad and include horses and pets in my practice.
My mission is to help students and clients achieve their life purpose and lead a balanced life through right relationship with the earth and all living things. We come from the earth and return to the earth and it’s essential that our time on this planet be spent in harmony with the earth, something that is increasingly difficult in today’s modern world.
I have taught Native American spirituality throughout the United States, Europe and Australia and, with Bear Heart, am the co-author of the international best seller The Wind Is My Mother - The Life and Teachings of a Native American Shaman.
