Beloved Muskogee-Creek elder Marcellus “Bear Heart” Williams’ book, The Wind Is My Mother, The Life and Teachings of a Native American Shaman, has brought inspiration to thousands around the world.
“He is a total inspiration. His book help me change the way I look at life.”
"Bear Heart's words have changed my family's life for the better. I pray for blessings for his family.” K.D.
“At once mystical and utterly practical, Bear Heart’s message is not a call to conversion, but the testimony of a life so fully lived that it can heal others. To read it is to be inspired to live one’s own life with more attention, harmony and hope.” – Lorene Cary, author of Black Ice

Unfortunately, Bear Heart died without leaving a will and, despite his wishes, his royalties from The Wind Is My Mother are not going to his family. We are raising funds to hire an attorney to correct this. His family has been struggling financially for many years and receiving future book royalties, or recouping what has already been lost, would greatly benefit them.
The family needs to raise money for legal fees to bring justice to this wrong. I know times are particularly hard now, but I hope you will consider a donation of any size. They all count: $5, $10, or whatever.
These funds will be used to pay the attorney who will work to protect the families’ legal rights. When legal fees are covered, the fundraiser will end, and you will learn the outcome.

Thank you for your support. We wouldn’t be able to accomplish this goal without you.
